United Way campaign season underway
The annual campaign luncheon was held at the Boys and Girls Club Gymnasium and lunch was provided by Second Harvest of South Georgia. the event gives business leaders the opportunity to learn about GVUW, meet partner agency directors, and learn how to engage employees.
Mayor Matheson and Lowndes County Commissioner Orenstein said the city wanted to honor GVUW for its successful campaigns and work beyond the pandemic.
Business sponsors were given the opportunity to speak about their experiences with GVUW.
