Agency Spotlight: The American Red Cross of South Georgia
Terri Jenkins joined the Red Cross in 2007. In April 2009, Terri became Executive Director of the Valdosta Chapter and one year later, was appointed Executive Director of the American Red Cross of South Georgia. She has worked in the nonprofit arena for over 20 years in Valdosta.
The Red Cross supports local communities by helping prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. By teaching life-saving skills, Georgia’s Red Cross helped more people experiencing home fires than any other region in the country.
The Georgia’s Red Cross supports Souther Blood Services and empowers the community through volunteers and donors.
