New United Way Director, Michael Smith, Promises Growth

Michael_Smith_on_stairs_United_WayNew United Way director, Michael Smith, promises growth across the five counties (Berrien, Brooks, Echols, Lanier and Lowndes) the Greater Valdosta United Way serves. The United Way has been around since 1954 connecting the non-profit agencies, corporations, and people to improve the community they live in. Smith has already seen some of the plans come to fruition with renovations of the United Way’s home and hosting social gatherings to reconnect with past board members and donors. Smith states “I’m really excited about being a piece of the puzzle to hopefully make South Georgia better.”
